About2006 Mr. and Miss Basketball

A 1981 graduate of Warren Central High School where he served as Class President, Scott then attended Western Kentucky University for two years. Scott worked full time in radio until 1989, then becoming an became a young entrepreneur, purchasing the trophy center in March of 1989. While owning Thompson's Trophy Center, Scott bought out two other trophy businesses in Bowling Green before selling the company in July of 1997.

After a hiatus from the trophy business, Scott purchased Smokey Pig BBQ, owning and operating it for a year before selling it. He then bought and sold a trophy business in Jackson, TN, and was Executive Director of the Humboldt, TN Chamber of Commerce.

In 2005 Scott purchased the original trophy center back, which he is currently operating.

Scott is no stranger to the community or spotlight. He began working in radio broadcasing in 1979 which still in high school and began doing play by play of high school games in 1983 (which he continues doing today. Scott has worked on WKU Football, Basketball and Baseball broadcasts various times over the years.

Scott has been a Broadcast Team Member of the KHSAA/Rawlings Football Network (the six state championship games) and a Broadcast Team Member of the KHSAA/Kentucky Utilities Sweet 16 Radio Network (boys & girls state basketball tournaments). He's also active in the community, volunteering with various organziations, and serving as a coach for youth softball and basketball.
